  Meet the Staff
Dr. Ajsa Nikolic, MD - Medical Director
Dr. Nikolic lived in New Orleans as a child, but attended High School at the American International School in Vienna, Austria. She attended college at the University of Vienna. Dr. Nikolic then went to the University of Vienna Medical School, finishing in 2000.

Dr. Nikolic's residency training was done at East Jefferson General Hospital. She completed her Family Practice Residency in 2004. She has worked at East Jefferson After Hours in Kenner (where she was medical director from 2005-2007) and Metairie, Doctor's Urgent Care in Slidell, Lake After Hours in Baton Rouge, and East Jefferson Occupational Medicine in Kenner, LA since completion of her residency. She has also worked as an Emergency Room Physician since Katrina at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and at Northshore Regional Medical Center, Slidell.

Dr. Nikolic is board certified in both Family Practice and Urgent Care.
Dr. Donald Fabacher, MD - MD
Dr. Fabacher was born and raised in Harahan, LA and attended John Curtis High School. He earned his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University and his Medical Degree at LSU medical school in New Orleans. He is a board certified family physician and did his residency training at East Jefferson General Hospital Family Medicine Program. Before medicine Donald was an electrician and a nurse technician.
Katherine North, APRN - APRN
Katherine is a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. She received her BSN from Louisiana State University in 1997 and completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at LSU Health Science center in 2011 with multiple honors. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and member of Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was employed at Lindy Boggs Medical Center for 10 years and as well as part time at Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Louisiana Heart Hospital.
Brent Becnel APRN - Nurse Practitioner
Brent Becnel is a registered nurse who holds a Bachelorís degree in nursing which he received from Nicholls State University in 1995. Mr. Becnel is currently a family nurse practitioner. He earned his degree from Loyola University in New Orleans Louisiana in May of 2012. Prior to joining the urgent care area of advanced practice nursing, Mr. Becnel provided primary care services in a local clinic.
Mr. Becnelís professional experience started in a step down ICU unit, however for most of his undergraduate years Mr. Becnel practiced nursing in an emergency department, with a brief stent of flight nursing for an air ambulance company based out of Atlanta Georgia. He was part of the leadership team in the emergency department in which he worked. Mr. Becnel has also worked on special projects that had benefit to both the emergency department and hospital. The last project Mr. Becnel was a participant in was a 5s lean project which helps eliminate waste in departments. I also better locates supplies, and puts them in the most efficient places for staff use. Mr. Becnel has been a preceptor for many of the new RN graduates as well as experienced nurses who begin their career in the emergency department.
During hurricane Katrina, Mr. Becnel coordinated the airlift efforts at the hospital where he was then employed. Mr. Becnel was also instrumental in reopening the hospital immediately following hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Online Newshour has interviewed Mr. Becnel with regards to his experiences during hurricane Katrina. Mr. Becnel also received letters of appreciation from the Emergency Nursesí Association for his dedication to his profession during a disaster, and from the Disaster medical assistance team that helped during the immediate aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Currently, Mr. Becnel is a member of the Louisiana state nursesí association as well as the American association of Nurse practitioners and the Urgent Care association of America.
Jenny Marino - Clinic Supervisor/Xray Tech
Jennifer Marino is originally from LaPlace, LA. She received her Radiologic Technologist degree from Delgado in 2004. Since then she has worked in Urgent Care Facilities. Her biggest challenge was restarting a clinic in the aftermath of Katrina. Her responsibilities included staffing and ordering supplies as well as patient care.
Alicia Buras - Front Desk
Alicia Buras rediscovered her love for healthcare after Hurricane Katrina devastated her family home and affected the lives of many innocent people in her neighborhood. Despite the fact that many of her close friends left New Orleans, Alicia decided to go back to school to pursue her allied health degree and help rebuild the city she loves.
Dominique Dent - X-ray
Dominique was born and raised in New Orleans. She graduated from Delgado Community College with a degree from Radiologic Technology in 2011. She has always had a passion to work in health care. She looks forward to expanding her radiological skills as she pursues additional certifications in both CT and Radiation Therapy.
Candis DiGiovanni - X-ray
Candis has been employed with New Orleans urgent care since 2010. She attended Our lady of Holy Cross where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology. She also completed the radiology program at Ochsner Clinic Foundation where she was selected as the outstanding radiologic technologist of her 2006 graduating class. She is a wife and mother of two girls and hopes to continue.
Alida Revon - Office Staff
Alida Revon grew up in the Kenner/Metairie area. She attended Archbishop Chapelle High School, and graduated from the University of New Orleans in the Fall of 2006 with a degree in General Studies. She started at New Orleans Urgent Care in the Fall of 2008. She loves working for NOUC alongside some great people, and has enjoyed watching it grow throughout the years.
Brandon Gaudet - X-ray
Brandon was born and raised in New Orleans. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel high school in 2008 and began working in construction shortly after. Midway through pursuing an electrical career, he had a change of heart and decided he wanted to join the medical field. He then began studying at Delgado Community College, where he was accepted into the Radiologic Technology program and graduated with an Associates Degree of Applied Science. He started working for New Orleans Urgent Care in the summer of 2014 and absolutely loves it. He currently performs quality diagnostic xray imaging while cross-training to receive his certification as a Medical Assistant. He is always willing to learn and improve while practicing professional patient healthcare.
Tasha Richardson - X-ray Tech
Tasha was born in Eunice, LA and raised in Basile, LA. She moved to New Orleans after graduating high school in 1992. Tasha attended Delgado Community College where she obtained a degree in Radiologic Technology in 2011. She also is employed at Tulane Medical Center where she is a CT Technologist. In the near future she plans on pursuing a degree in Radiation therapy.
Christy Troullier - X-ray Tech
Christy was born and raised on the Westbank of New Orleans. She is the second string xray tech who absolutely loves doing orthostatic vitals! She is currently studying CT and hopes to one day be a T6
Tom Mather - MA
Recent graduate from Loyola New Orleans, Tom is headed to Nursing school at LSU come Spring 2015. He plays guitar and loves college football. Go Irish! Since working here, he has acquired new nickname, patients might hear him be called Brad.
Dustin Landgrave - MA
Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. He graduated from LSU in Baton Rouge with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Business Administration. He is working at New Orleans Urgent Care to gain experience and practical knowledge in the field of medicine while applying to medical school.
Lauren Hunter - MA
Lauren Hunter was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended St. Maryís Domincan High School, and graduated in 2010. She then completed a Bachelors of Science in Biology at Louisiana State University in the spring of 2014. Lauren enjoys working in the medical field, and New Orleans Urgent Care has given her the chance to work in a clinical setting while continuing the process of applying to medical school.
Joni Eleam - Front Desk
Joni was born in the New Orleans area. After Hurricane Katrina she relocated in the Dallas area in which she studied and completed her Medical coding and billing certification. After her brief stint in Mesquite, Tx. She moved to Baton Rouge and worked in the healthcare industry, She has since moved back to New Orleans were she has been working at New Orleans Urgent Care since 2015. Her past time hobbies is cooking and spending time with her two daughters.
David McGregor -
David W. McGregor Jr. is the Head Medical Assistant at New Orleans Urgent Care, and he has been with us since January 2016. He has recently been accepted into Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Al. David will be leaving us in
May 2017 to move for medical school. David worked in Pediatrics before coming aboard with NOUC, and prior to that he graduated from University of New Orleans with a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. He also served about five years in the United States Navy as an Aerospace Corpsman where he was sent on two different expeditionary deployments. His last deployment was to the Middle East in 2012, and before that once in Africa in 2010. He was Honorably discharged in June of 2012. David plans on going into Anesthesia for residency and working in the healthcare field with others interested in global heath. When he is not in the clinic he is spending time with his fiancť, two cats, and dog. He can also be found in the gym staying fit and healthy
Kelly St. Ann - Front desk
Kelly was born and raised in Slidell LA. Recently moved to the Westbank in 2013. Kelly has been working in the medical field since 2007. She started working at New Orleans Urgent Care in 2015. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family.
Brittany Blache - MA
Gabriela Ordoyne - Medical Assistant
Gabby was born and raised in the New Orleans area. She attended and graduated from John Curtis in 2012. In 2016 she graduated with a bachelors in Biology from the University of New Orleans. Gabby plans on attending medical school in the near future, but her specialty is still undecided. In her spare time, you can find Gabby at the gym or at home playing with her animals (mainly her rabbit Butters)
Genevieve Perret - MA
Genevieve was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended Ben Franklin High School and graduated in 2012. Genevieve already has her BS in Biology from UNO, and plans to obtain her second BS--in nursing--at LSU-HSC in their CARE program. In terms of the future, she is thinking of either becoming a NP or a CRNA. When Genevieve isn't working, she is either reading or spending time with family, friends, and her pets.
Hammad Hammad - MA
Hammad was born in Puerto Rico and moved here in 2010. He attended the University of New Orleans and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Hammad is trilingual speaking English, Spanish, and Arabic. He plans on attending medical school in the near future, and hopefully specialize in Cardiovascular Surgery. On his free time you can find him in the gym, or kicking a soccer ball around.
Whitney Marshall - Front Desk
Whitney Marshall was born and raised in New Orleans but after Hurricane Katrina she spent her teenage years living in Bassfield, MS. She attended Bassfield High School and, graduated in 2011. While in undergraduate, Whitney filled her time with many extracurricular activities and tons of studying. She then completed a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at the University of New Orleans. She is currently pursuing a M.Ed. of Counselor Education at the University of New Orleans. In the future she plans to work in counseling with children, and one day hopes to lown a counseling private practice. She enjoys hanging with family and friends, and watching televeision, on her down time.

Taylar Brown - Front Desk
Taylar Brown was born and raised in the small town of Plaquemine,LA located right outside of Baton Rouge. She attended Plaquemine High School and graduated salutatorian of her class in 2011. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of New Orleans in 2015. During her undergraduate time, she spent most of her time studying, working, and involved in many various extracurricular activities. Currently, she is enrolled in an accelerated program at LSU Health Sciences Center - New Orleans to pursue a second bachelors in nursing. She hopes to also earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice and eventually open up her own pediatric clinic. In her free time, she loves to sleep, binge watch netflix shows, and spend time with her friends and boyfriend.
Nicole Matherne - Xray
Sam - MA
Sam has been with NOUC since moving to New Orleans from California in August 2015. She obtained a B.S. in Microbiology at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and is currently obtaining her MSPH in Tropical Medicine at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Prior to working at NOUC, she worked at an EMT for Santa Barbara County Fire Dept., and loves that she can continue working in the medical field in her new home in New Orleans. She wishes to contribute to global health equality by pursuing a career in infectious disease research, particularly of arboviruses. In her spare time, you can find her running, at the bouldering gym, and escaping to the mountains.
